Assistant Surveyor – (for Housing Land Developer)

Job Description

Field data collection & measurement

• Assist with GPS/RTK, total station, and levelling survey work.
• Staking & layout support: Property lines, boundaries, easements, right-of-way lines, building corners, setbacks, and grades.
• Equipment setup, maintenance, and organization under a lead surveyor’s direction.
• Gather field notes; field documentation & quality control
• Coordination with project teams i.e. civil engineers, project managers, architects, and utility locators on survey needs and construction progress.
• Follow all applicable safety rules & legal/professional boundaries

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Land Surveying and Geomatics
• Proficiency in using surveying instruments, CAD software, and other relevant tools.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and legal requirements.
• Ability to interpret and analyse technical drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 10 years proven experience in conducting land surveys and site assessments.
