Job Advert Summary

To develop practical boilermaking skills through structured training and supervised on-the-job experience in a cement manufacturing environment, while supporting maintenance, fabrication, installation, and repair activities on plant equipment and related steel structures in a safe and efficient manner.

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 O" Level subjects, including English, Mathematics, and Science, with Grade C or better.
  • At least 2 A' Level passes in Science subjects added advantage
  • Clearance Letter from the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education (Apprenticeship Training Board).
  • Be aged between 18 and 24 years

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with fabrication, fitting, and repair of metal components and plant structures under supervision.
  • Support routine maintenance, shutdown work, and breakdown repairs on assigned equipment.
  • Accurately complete assigned training modules, logbooks, and workplace learning records.
  • Demonstrate proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organised work areas always.
  • Report hazards, defects, unsafe conditions, and maintenance observations promptly.
  • Show measurable progress in practical skills development and readiness for trade testing.
