Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill the position of Carpenter for Rainbow Tourism Group, and the successful candidate will be based in the Maintenance Department at Rainbow Towers Hotel.

The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and assess the condition of wooden structures and recommend solutions.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on wooden furniture, fixtures, and fittings across the hotel.
  • Delivering quality workmanship within deadlines
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from different hotel departments.

Job Specification

  • Carpentry and Joinery skills (Skilled Carpenter and Joinery class 1/ 2)
  • Certificate or diploma in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of carpentry experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in carpentry and repair work.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
