Job Advert Summary

To support laboratory and quality assurance activities by conducting routine chemical analyses, monitoring raw materials and finished products, and assisting in process optimisation to ensure compliance with quality standards, operational requirements, and safety regulations within the cement manufacturing process.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry or equivalent

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine chemical and physical testing of raw materials, clinker, cement, and other production inputs.
  • Record, analyse, and report laboratory test results accurately and timeously.
  • Assist in monitoring product quality and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Support investigations into quality deviations and process-related issues.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and housekeeping standards.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety procedures, quality systems, and environmental requirements.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, quality summaries, and performance data.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
  • Support cross-functional teams with quality-related information and recommendations.
  • Complete the graduate development programme and assigned learning interventions successfully.
