Visit our website at: www.rclfoods.com An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our Komati Mill in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, ensure the effective management of maintenance and asset management systems, and drive continuous improvement in plant reliability, operational efficiency, and capital project execution. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards, statutory requirements, and best engineering practices while fostering collaboration across engineering, maintenance, and operational teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc/B Tech Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• GCC and Project Management Diploma will be an added advantage.
• MS Office (Excel - intermediate; Word – intermediate; Outlook – intermediate).
• SAP Module (PM, MM).
• Working knowledge of ISO9001: 2000 and health and safety management systems.
• At least 3 – 5 years’ relevant industrial and managerial experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
• To be considered for appointment, candidate must be a South African Citizen.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent qualification will be advantageous.
• Tertiary Asset Management Qualification will be advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Custodian of project management system - procedures, record keeping, close-out, etc.
• Custodian of strategic capital plan process.
• Custodian of Plant Maintenance, Planning, CMMS and Enterprise Asset Management Systems Planning office management.
• Drawing office management.
• Management of various multidisciplinary projects through all the project life cycles in a heavy engineering environment.
• Coordination of capital implementation.
• Implementation of community of Practices initiative for Capex and Maintenance.
• Ensure that all activities and assets are compliant with SHEQ standards and legislation.
